Sue is very friendly and easy to talk to. She discovered the tight areas and worked on them. During the massage I instantly felt the stress melt away which has never happened elsewhere before, I always usually feel the effects afterwards. She also gave me exercises to do to help my posture and showed me exercises for my right hand which I broke a bone in last year. I also saw an instant effect on that too when she was doing the exercises on that too. She is very helpful and thorough. She did stretches during my massage to decrease the tightness, and that's the first massage I've had like that. She also showed me how to massage my scar on my wrist that I had an operation on. Very therapeutic massage in lots of ways.

I really appreciated my first session with Sue and immediately felt very confident that I was in the hands (literally 😆) of a professional who knows what she's doing! I was practically pain free after the session for about 5 hours, which was great. I've done some of the exercises suggested, and although I was in significant pain this morning in didn't feel quite as intense . I'm very much looking forward to my next session and am very confident that Sue will really help me with my chronic sciatica. I've already recommended her to others!

Wow, fantastic, highly recommend a massage here. I feel much happier and lighter after just 1 session. Sue really knows her stuff and unlocked all the tight bits that needed loosening up, she even showed me some exercises to help with my knee and tight Psoas muscle from sitting down all day. Will be back..despite the hour long journey to get there.

Had my first session with Sue to address shoulder pain . She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Sue is an experienced physio and uses deep tissue massage along with essential oils. Sue was able to highlight other issues and has given me exercises to help .

My deep muscle massage with Sue was fabulous. She identified how stiff my back and shoulders were and concentrated on loosening them up. By the end of the hour I felt as free as a bird. Sue's experience as an NHS physio gave me confidence that she could spot areas that needed attention, and her warm and friendly manner put me at ease.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and had a deep tissue and muscle massage with Sue. She explains everything and puts you at ease. What was amazing for me is that I could experience immediate results. Would highly recommend Sue who is very professional, warm and friendly.

First time in a long time someone has really known the body. The massage was really targetted and helpful and I ended up walking out feeling like she'd actually stretched and done some clever work on my skeleton somehow too! Very impressed and grateful. I'll definately be going back.

Sue at Focus and Move is a wonderful massage therapist. She has helped tackle back problems that have bedevilled me for years. I recently suffered a painful bout of sciatica but massage sessions with her really helped, banishing the pain for good. She always looks for new ways to tackle any issues and provides helpful advice and exercises to do at home. The best therapist I have had in more than 50 years of sessions. I highly recommend her!

Had my first massage here a couple of days ago. Areas of concern were targeted, which was very much what I wanted. Also lots of helpful advice to put into practice at home. Generous time allocation with Sue going over time in order to finish off. Will certainly consider booking again in the future.

I’ve had 2 x 1:1 Pilates sessions now with Sue and a deep tissue massage. Both were excellent. I am a newby to Pilates and Sue guided me through the process brilliantly paying particular attention to various issues and areas that I felt needed addressing. My core was definitely engaged and I am keen to feeling much more flexibility in the coming months. The massage was also great. She has a lovely private room that’s comfy and warm and smells heavenly. She is very skilled and as such I felt relief as soon as she’d finished. I can’t recommend Sue highly enough. What a find and local too. No parking issues either which was such a bonus. Get booked in now.

I'm getting some really positive results from the remedial massage and the exercises that Sue gives me really help mobility in these areas between sessions. It's great to have found someone who understands the physio side of massage too. Brilliant

After 2 years of intense back pain I found Sue from Focus and Move by chance. I went for a massage just to relieve muscle tension. Sue is the most knowledgeable person I’ve met and instinctively knew the pain in my back was mainly from scar tissue in my abdomen. After having work on my stomach I had instant relief from intense pain. I’m booking in for more sessions and would thoroughly recommend Sue to anybody who thinks they have tried every other avenue for pain relief through different practitioners.

I have a lower back and neck problem, after a thorough consultation with Sue, she explained to me what my concern was. The massage was so good and during the session, she always talk to me what she is doing. I felt so much better straight afterwards. She also gave me some tips and exercises to do it at home. This massage was excellent, made even more so by the lovely aromatherapy oils used. Sue is a trained physio so knows exactly what she is feeling and which muscles need a bit of extra attention even when you may not be aware they do! I loved every moment and felt very relaxed afterwards. Would highly recommend!

Sue has a lovely, kindly approach and seemed to check out my condition very thoroughly, then proceeding to massage the affected areas gently but firmly so that I really noticed the difference. I will certainly go back to her.
